GREATER EDUCATION REDUCES INFANT/CHILD MORTALITY

KEEP THIS IN MIND

The single biggest factor, by far, in reducing the rate of death among children younger than five is greater education for women.

Statistics show girls who receive our kits have greatly improved school attendance.  

Such a simple solution with amazing and ongoing  impact!

SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER

We will be having our September workday on Labor Day, September 1.  I hope that doesn't cause problems for too many of you.  If you're available, please join us anytime between 10:00 and 4:00.  If you sew or serge, please bring your machine and basic sewing supplies.

In October, we will not meet on the first Saturday, as I'll have an information booth at the Emerald Valley Quilters Quilt Show that weekend.
